3 bunches of broccoli 1/3 cup of tahini (raw or toasted) 1 garlic clove (or more to taste) 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1/3 cup water 1 tspn tamari or pinch sea salt 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
Cut broccoli florets from the stalks and place the florets in a large mixing bowl. Next, blend the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, water and tamari or salt if using, until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture onto the broccoli florets and mushrooms and onion, stir until evenly covered with sauce. Sprinkle the sunflower seeds on top.
This is designed as a raw salad but I have found sauteed is also really tasty. I like to use tenderstem broccoli, raw or steamed.

not sure if you mean cloves, or garlic, I mean 1 clove of garlic, which is not the same thing as cloves! perhaps you don't call them cloves of garlic over there? bulb & clove together..
