(from "Delights of the Garden" by Imar Hutchins)

3 bunches of broccoli
1/3 cup of tahini (raw or toasted)
1 garlic clove (or more to taste)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup water
1 tspn tamari or pinch sea salt
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup red onion, chopped

Cut broccoli florets from the stalks and place the florets in a large mixing bowl. Next, blend the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, water and tamari or salt if using, until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture onto the broccoli florets and mushrooms
and onion, stir until evenly covered with sauce. Sprinkle the sunflower seeds on top.

This is designed as a raw salad but I have found sauteed is also really tasty. I like to use tenderstem broccoli, raw or steamed.

perhaps you don't call them cloves of garlic over there?

The Steinlager Series will kick off on Saturday 3 July with the All Blacks playing at Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, for the first time in what will be an historic Test against Tonga. The match is also a double-header with the Māori All Blacks playing Manu  ABs v tonga live rugby Samoa beforehand. The action moves to Dunedin the following weekend for the first All Blacks vs Fiji Test at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, on Saturday 10 July.
